Rather than start a new thread, maybe it would keep the site tidier if I tack my new issue here.

Last year I installed a Slipstreamer S03 on my SF. This windscreen came with another bike I bought, and it had the original hardware.

The top mounts to the handlebars, and the bottom mounts on the turn signals.

The handlebars are rubber shock mounted. The turn signals rotate. The windscreen bounces up and down objectionably. I put a stack of adhesive furniture-leg felt pads on top of the headlight to spring load the windscreen in the upward direction. It works OK, but I want to do a better job.

I was thinking to fabricate new lower brackets to fix the bottom windscreen mounts to the top triple tree bolts.
Then I realized if the top can flex with the handlebars, and he bottom is fixed, I might crack the windscreen.

I need advice and experience from others.

How have you mounted your windscreen? Is it stable? Any problems with cracking?
