Hey Tom:

I don't know if you realize it, but other members cannot reply to a post in the For Sale/Wanted forum. That's why mongoose made a new thread to respond to your post.

I started this new thread to ask you the big question:.

Your bike has 'only' 50,000 miles on it. It's unusual to need new valves at that mileage. I'm curious why you would choose to replace the exhaust valves?

Very kind of you to offer the XS1100 head to others.

BTW, I looked around for valves last week and didn't find anything. About 8 years ago I bought an OEM exhaust valve for $70 to replace a bent one. After that, I saw some Chinese knock-offs on Ali Babba for ~$7.00
