After hashing a few ideas around with a couple of triplers. I came up with. what I believe to be the final tensioner design.

I found after building the standard design, it had a few drawbacks that I felt needed addressing.

In the Gen3 design, I beleive I have address most of the wear issues having to do with steel on aluminum contact.

The end product incorerates 1/8" steel throughout, long shank hardened bolt through bass bushings, steel rivits holding a Delrin slide. The main spring is held inplace w/ screw threaded into the pivot arm. The spring has a oil resistent plastic base.
